In our energy lesson today we learned about what a fair test is and how certain things make something a fair test. For instance we did a experiment on which type of balls bounce higher than another type of ball on average.before we dropped any balls we had to make sure that when we did it we gave both balls the same amount of force, height and to bounce it on the same materials in order to make it a FAIR TEST.Jamie and I tested with a basketball and a ping-pong ball at ONLY MY eye level. We tested each ball three times and recorded the measurements each time.Next,we figured out the average of how high each ball bounced and compared the two(pingpong ball:82cm basketball:77cm).I was suprised about the results! I thought the basketball was going to bounce higher but the ping-pong ball did by 5 cm.
