We will use a Creately Graphic Organizer to Plan Our Rube Goldberg Project:
Here are your directions for today's activity:
(1) Follow the directions on your email from Creately. (You need to sign into your Google account and access your GMail.)
(2) "Export" the graphic organizer that looks like the one we used the other day. (It is located at the bottom of the list on the left of the screen.)
(3) Click "New."
(4) "Import" that graphic organizer. Now this is your copy that you (and your partner if you have one) can work on.
Here is a link to the diagram if our email isn't working.
Here is another link, in case the last one doesn't let us edit.

Insulators Experiment
By the end of the experiment, you should have a strong understanding of which materials make good insulators and which materials don't.
Directions:
Directions:
- Set up your computer station by signing into Logger Lite (Use the spotlight in the upper right hand corner to find it).
- Plug in your temperature probes. Make sure they are set to Celcius.
- Make sure that your blue temperature probe is in the ice water bath and your red temperature probe is in your bottle of warm water.
- Go to "Experiment" - "Data Collection" like we've always done. Make it say "Duration = 20 minutes" and "10 samples/minute" like the picture below.
- Press the green "Collect" button when everything is set up. Be prepared to hold it still for 20 minutes. If you move around too much, the temperature changes quite a bit!
