For the past 2 days we have been reading the book If the World Was A Village by David J. Smith. This I thought was a very amazing book about how the world would be if it was a 100 person village. The one most cool/crazy/scary thing is that 87 people have safe water to drink but 13 people do not have a safe water to drink. Remember these 100 people represent the 7,000,000,000 people in the world. Without this safe water the people in the village could die or get really sick and not do anything that could help the world. This would really scare me if I did not have clean water to do things like drink, bath and wash close with. The other thing that really scares me is and goes along with this is only 62 people in the world have a clean sanitized places to use the rest room and other things where things could get in your body. The other 32 could die without this sanitation. If you look at it in a real population point 218750000 do not have a safe place to use the bathroom or shower at all! There are over 2.1 billion people that could die from unsanitized places.   This is the thing that most scared me in this book and I hope people have clean water on mars!
