Surface Wood dirt/mud grass gravel Leaf | Prediction I think the wood will absorb the water drop. I think the dirt will turn to mud. I think the water will run through the grass but the grass will absorb some of it. The water will bounce off the gravel and all the way down the cup. The leaf will absorb the water that is pored on it. | Actual The water drops hit the wood and evaporated. The dirt did become wet and turned to mud. The grass was like a siv and the water went right through. The water discolored some of the rocks and ran to the bottom. The leaf acted like slide for the water. | Reflection I thought that my prediction was true because the wood did soak up the water. I think that again prediction was spot on. and water turns solids into liquids. I think that half of my prediction was correct but it was not entirely true. The prediction was not entirely true and now I know what the will do. The water can not be absorbed by the leaf that quickly and it also has to be on a plant still. |
