1. Your nerves send a message to your brain.  Then your brain sends a message back to make you move.
2. My body reacted by blinking to protect my eyes.
3. This reflex would have protected me by not letting anything touch my naked eye.
4.  The nervous system did the same thing but in a little different way.  The senses where used in both.  Even muscles were involved in both.  But I did not have to think about the actions at all it was the nervous system.

2. It means to extend (a graph, curve, or range of values) by inferring unknown values from trends in the known data. Which means to extend data by using a pattern and seeing what comes next.
