Arguments for Independence
(Patriots point of view)

1. They thought the taxes were unfair.

2. They thought the Boston Massacre was very very wrong.

3. They thought all the acts were very wrong and unfair.

Argument against Independence
(Loyalist point of view)

1. They thought America couldn't govern themselves.

2. They thought king George the III knew what he was doing.

3. They thought that the colonists didn't know what they were doing.  But the king did.

1. For your reflection, answer the following questions below your T-Chart:

            1. Which side is easier to debate: Patriot or Loyalist?  Why?              
                The patriots are easier to debate because there were stronger reasons for Independence.
            2. You completed History Alive 10 on paper and History Alive 11 on computer. Which way made you LEARN
                more? Why?
                The computer version made me learn more because it seemed like there was more to it then the paper version.
