I have some concerns as the meteorologist because sand storms can hit at any moment in time. We can not predict when this will happen until we are close to mars. This can cause lung damage or death because it can rip up our lungs. There are more things to worry about with the red dust. It can damage our equipment to predict storms and even homes. If the red dust gets in our homes can destroy them or get in our lungs even if our homes have air locks and we can breath in it. There are also many more things like temperatures can are -80ºf degrees. That can destroy equipment or freeze up and die in the polar ice caps it's -225ºf where there is water. Though it can reach 70ºf it is always cold.
