Today in our Election Simulation we got to find out what states were Democratic and what states were Republican. I was surprised to find out that Obama won by THAT much! (Obama had 332 votes and Romney had 206 votes) even though I wanted him to win.
The reason that Maine and Nebraska are purple is because they were split states. Not everyone voted for Obama in Maine and not everyone voted for Romney in Nebraska.
I thought that Romney would win over Florida because he needed the votes so he would try harder to and if he got Florida he possibly could've turned the tides over into his favor.
