In this book there is a guy named Cap and he is a hippy. Then his Grandmother, Rain who live with him falls out of a tree and she has to go to the hospital and recover. The bad part is that she’s going to be there for a while so Cap has to go to a real school and live in the real world. Once he gets to the his new School they all think that he is weird so they nominate him for Eighth Grade President. But that is not a good thing that means that you are wanted to be the school joke trying to plan all the school’s activities. The last Eighth Grade President dropped out of school because it was too hard and that’s what they wanted to happen to Cap. That blows up in their faces though the mastermind of the plan is Zach Power and he’s the popular kid in school. Once all of his m on Cap backfire the other popular kid notice that Cap a nice kid and then Cap becomes the popular one in the grade. Then when Cap has to go back to his real home because Rain has healed theres a twist he had tons of friends and now he’s going back to nothing just his Grandmother and a lot of duct tape. He wasn’t as happy as he was back at his school. Then one day he was driving in his Grandmother’s pick up truck and a guy pulled him over and arrested him because he was driving without a license. In defence cap said that it was his Grandmother’s property and they said that it wasn’t it was Skyline Realty and Development. When Cap got to the Sheriff’s Office a lady got out of her expensive car and then Cap noticed that it was Rain and she told him that she sold Garland for 17 million dollars and they are rich! Then she said that Cap now was going back to his school forever and now he could be with his friends.
In my graph the data doesn't go up, down or stay the same. I think that it is like that because when I was pinching the clothespin I sometimes got tired and then at the end I wanted to break my records. My partners data isn't the same as mine because she didn't try as hard in the beginning and then she did in the end so she didn't have the bump in the beginning. The pattern indicate that your muscles get tired when you do something hard just like working out. I could of made my results more reliable by trying hard in the middle just like at the end because there is just a big pit in the middle. So in conclusion muscles do get tired and it is sometimes harder to do something at the end of when you do it.
Today in school we did a science experiment were you dropped a ruler and the other person had to catch it. It was the most difficult to catch the ruler when Kelsie tapped me on the shoulder because when she toughed me it was already on the floor practically. I could use the sense of smell to catch the ruler because I would sniff the smell and then know it was coming. Also you could use the sense of taste because once I taste the food I would know that it fell. I knew when to try to catch the ruler because my brain used the sense that Kelsie did to command to my brain to send a command to my nerves to command my mucles to move and catch the ruler.
My Rube Goldberg makes a person breakfast in bed without anyone else doing anything! I thought that it was cool because there was a conveyer belt that let the food go up the stairs by using different types of energy. I also thought that It was funny that the person hit the alarm clock to start the whole thing. The energy transfers were cool because it changed from sound energy to motion sometimes.
Making this poster was hard at some points and fun at others. I thought that It was hard to find out every thing about your energy and put it on to a poster. You sometimes got frustrated when you couldn't do something on the poster because it had to be visual. I think that the hardest information to find out was who used Geothermal Energy before the united states because not a lot of other Countries have used it. This helped us win Energy Debates because some of the groups arguments say that we did something bad with this and then we know that we can tell them this about are Energy.
In school we learned about different types of energy sources like mine Geothermal. We became expert on them and I even thought that we should power the whole United States with Geothermal. Once you became a "expert" on your energy source you debate against other groups. The winner on the competition gets to power the united states for one whole year. (Just in our classroom for fun!) I thought the hard thing was that sometimes in your debate you get a argument from the other team and you didn't even hear it before! Then you just have to research it in a minute and come up with a defense. The thing that I really liked about it was that you got really into your energy and mow I can actually say that I would really like the united states to pick Geothermal for there alternative energy source. (2) The United states needs alternative energy sources because coal isn't going to last forever and a lot of the others will. Also coal solutes a lot so we need another one. (3) I think that we could of done better if we used more pictures and videos because that might of persuaded the judges more.
In class today we are learning about some events that happened in the 1700's. We all got one event and had to make a summary of it. Mine was the Stamp Act Congress.(You can read about above)I thought that it was pretty hard actually because mine was kind of hard to research. It was not a very big topic because I was doing the wrong title so there wasn't lots of information on it. The fun part was though that at the end every ones events were put into a time line. It had a part though of the break between the Colonies and Britain. It put us in charge because we got Britain to lay off a little and then we got an Idea about if we should break from Britain and be free to make are law. If I live in the Colonies back then I would totally want a break from Britain they made are laws they decided everything for us! We could actually make our decisions if we didn't have Britain ruling us.
