1.The heat transferred from the hot water into the rod.Then the butter would slip down the pole.Then we would take the rod and the butter out.
2.My predictions were almost perfect.I knew that metal attracts heat so those two were in my top three,but then I thought aluminum would conduct the best. I don't know why it was a random guess.
3.The copper and the aluminum.They were the best because they both attract heat which makes the butter slip down the rod.
4.The wood and the plastic rod were the worst because they don't attract to heat which makes the butter not fall off.
5.I think that water is a bad conductor because it is a liquid and it probably doesn't attract anything that I know of.
6.I think it matters because we need to know if things could burn us or not.We use conductors for experiments,for things made out of metal,and stuff like that.Also we use a lot of plastic to make things and wood.

Tax collectors!

Today I was paid for the first time my my boss. 7 pence, Hooray! But someone took my money! Paul Tax collector came and took money away from me. I guess I should of seen that coming for all he is a tax collector. But darn King George the third. His new laws that people have to pay for were outrages. If you were glasses,if you are left handed, if you were wearing a necklace or bracelet, and if your birth month ends in the letters B,E,R, like October, November, or December. I'm glad that the tax collectors didn't take much. But being called out for being left handed! That's just cruel! I thought that being left handed was good!! Anyways I believe that I shouldn't have to pay for the crazy laws. We deserve our independence and the right to create better and stronger laws for our self's. Tax collectors are awful to come across. I shall always despise of them as long as I am in Boston. This is not very welcoming. I want to leave Boston, but the next ship to England comes in 5 years! Thats right I said 5 YEARS, witch means I'm stuck with the stupid tax collectors. UGGGG!!! I'm going BROOK!

1. But all of these laws are unfair
2. We deserve to have a say in parliament
3. We deserve to to be able to own are own land and not be pushed around.

1. I believe that we are perfectly fine the way that King George is pushing us around.
2.Paying extra money for everyday items is awesome
3. I wonder why the patriots think that the laws of King George are unfair.

I thought the patriot side was easier to debate because there are more reasons to be against the people who are giving us taxes to pay. Who wants to be on the side of the people who make us let total strangers live and sleep
in our houses.

I thought that the computer way made me learn more. I think that way because of the interactive notebook at the bottom. That clearly showed me and taught me more on the topic.

1.They compared in the beginning by a couple of degrees. The red cup with the warmer water was 63.5 degrees in fahrenheit. The water in the the colder water on the outside of the cup, in the bucket was 32.2 degrees. That is how that compared.,
2.The cold water over time was becoming more and more and more warm sitting out. It started out being 32.2 degrees and ended up being about 47.9
3. The warm water over time started to cool down from it's original temperature . It started out at around 80 degrees and ended at about 48 degrees
4. Our graph showed us what happened by telling us all of the changing temperature. When ever the table was bumped the graph changed. When ever the temperature dropped in the class room so did the temperature in the bucket and cup.
5. After 15 minutes I noticed that the temperature of both substances gradually become closer and closer. They almost met.
6.What happened to make the cold water turn warm was the air. As the temperature changed so did the cold water.
7. To make the warm water get cold was it sitting out. After the water sat out for a while the temperature of the warm water dropped because off the air and it sitting out.
8.If are experiment had ran for 20 minutes I think that the temperatures would meet. The warm water would become cold and the cold water would become warm.

history alive 11 panel debate

Something we did good during the panel debates was when had our we had our 30 second intro. We had
everything ready for it(I did the intro!). Something we did bad was we didn't have all of our questions ready for the debate. Another thing that we did well on it was that we were ready and fast when are actor had to discuss in what we were going to answer. But another thing that could of used some work was our behavior. Some of are group were not being serious when the cameras were not on us but when the cameras were on us we were very focused. I think some of our timing was a little of but the rest of it was alright. The Panel debate between Samuel Adams and Thomas Hutchinson. Overall I think went pretty well.

1. Explain how the Stamp Act had several effects that eventually led to colonists wanting to declare independence from England.

The stamp act affected the colonists because every single printed piece of paper was taxed.

2. Explain whether or not the Boston Tea Party was a CAUSE that led to the colonists declaring independence.

I think that the Boston tea party convinced the American's that some colonists were trying to declare that," we need to start our own country." That made the colonists think that Briton was controlling them and Briton needs to stop.

3. Since you are currently living in 1768 Boston, do you feel that America should declare independence from England? Why or why not?

I think that we should declare independence because the king of Briton was controlling them and made them pay his taxes and let his soldiers sleep in the colonists house and give them food and supplies and money. That's just mean.

I work as an upholder, and I chose it because it sounded interesting and I needed a place to live. It was hard to get as a job and I also got a part time job with Thomas Jefferson, the inventor, architect, genus, and he is giving me private lessons! Private lessons! Booyaa! My boss is so nice and he gave me 7 pence! I hope to learn many things about selling and pricing! I will work hard and I came here to learn about the past!

Which energy form was the hardest to find on your scavenger hunt?
Describe how your group worked together. What collaboration happened? Were there any challenges?

I think that motion energy was the easiest energy to find. I thought it was the easiest to find because all moving objects a considered motion energy. I think chemical energy was the hardest to find.I think chemical energy was the hardest to find because not a lot of things are chemical in a school.

There were a couple challenges during the project. One of them was being able to take a good picture. Some photos all took timing.
