Ways Living Things Use Water

Living things use water for many things. Like for example, some birds use rivers or lakes or ponds for a landing strip like an airplane on a airport runway. Some animals like seals,otters, and beavers drink water eat the stuff that lives in the water and most of the time live near or in the water. Fish pretty much live their whole lives in the water, they are born in the water and they die in the water, they drink water and they eat from the water and they also get their air from the water. Plants need the water to survive too you know, they normally get water from soaking up the water from the ground with their roots. Although some plants like a cactus soak up water like a sponge and store it, that is why they can live super long without much water. Many mammals like for example bears spend much of their time near the water. The reason of that is so they can catch fish which is one of the mainstays of their diet. There are many more ways that living things use water and this is only a fragment of the whole story.
