Arguments For Independence (Patriots Point of View)

1. I don't think it's fair that England controls our colonies, we should be able to control it ourselves.

2. I don't want to pay the taxes, I want to be free.

3. Britain's laws are unfair and the King isn't helping here in the colonies.

Arguments Against Independence (Loyalist's Point of View)

1. I think Britain's laws are fine, I'm just obeying the King.

2. What's wrong with paying a little extra money for England?

3. I think that the King is doing what's right for the colonies.

1. I think the Patriot's side is easier to debate. I don't think that is fair at all because the colonist's came to America for a reason, not for the King to take over and to pass unfair laws.

2. I thought I learned more with the History Alive 11 on the computer because I understood it better and answering the questions helped me understand it a lot more.
