Randy the Rain Drop Hi. I'm Randy. I'm a raindrop. When I was little I was in the sky. I was sitting in the clouds floating around in the air. It was great! Then one day it got really dark outside. That was a little unusual. I started to fall. Down, Down, Down. I was in the air for a while and I was getting used to it. That was until I hit the hard road.
"Ow! That hurt!" I cried. But nobody heard me. I started to roll down the path faster and faster. I was afraid. In front of me I saw a river. Uh oh!
Turtles use water in a lot of different ways. Sea turtles live in water. They come up for air once in a while and the females come ashore when they are laying eggs but other than that they stay under the water. Regular land turtles like the box turtle drink water just like humans do. Both land and sea turtles like to play in water. Obviously sea turtles play in water all of the time but land turtles also do this to. Turtles also wash themselves in water just like humans. Turtles also swim in water. Sea turtles spend most of their life swimming in water but land turtles do as well. Turtles Drinking and Eating

I didn't realize there were this many problems on Mars. I thought that it was a lot like Earth. The freezing temperatures are going to be a huge problem for me because I am a gardener and so I can't really plant much on Mars. Unless I plant inside, I cant really do my job. It's also hard to find water on Mars unless you go to the polar ice caps where the temperatures can get down to -240 degrees Fahrenheit. Even if you went there you would have to melt the ice, which would be really hard to do. You cant breathe on Mars so you have to wear big space suits to be able to breathe properly. It's going to be hard for Emma Turner because she is a pharmacist and if she runs out of medicine to give to people it will take a long time to ship it from Earth to Mars. She is going to need extra medicine because there are zaps from the sun that reach Mars which could lead to skin cancer, and even death. There are also a ton of dust storms on Mars, and that is bad because you could get lost in the storm while you are outside researching and exploring. The dust storms also would make it very hard to land on Mars. There is a lot of red dust on Mars and it is deadly. It can make you choke to death. It is very cold on Mars. It is so cold that us and our stuff can freeze. The plants could freeze. The technology could freeze. And our transportation could freeze. There are a lot of craters on Mars. This is because asteroids hit Mars a lot, and that could ruin buildings and all of our stuff. The land is also really uneven which would make it really hard to build on the surface. I feel bad for Silvia Santos because she is a therapist and she is going to be really busy, because people are going to be scared, worried, and nervous on Mars.

Q: What seem to be the most common water uses?
A: I think it is either drinking water, or taking a shower. Q; What are the most unusual water uses? A: I think the most unusual water use is hose wars. Swimming With Turtles in Grand Cayman I was at a turtle farm in Cayman Islands. I was 9 years old. This turtle farm had a lot of different sizes and kinds of turtles. When we first walked in there was a big yellow bucket on a bench. I looked in and there were 4 or 5 little baby turtles swimming in the water. I picked one up and held it in my hand. It was so cute! It sort of moved around in my hands and then I put it back in the bucket. They were really tiny and I didn't want to hurt it. We kept walking through the farm and kept looking at the turtles swimming around in the "pools". It was cool because we got to feed the turtles and see them up close because there was no top to the tanks. We turned the corner and saw a pool with 5 or 6 turtles in it that people could go in. My brother stepped into the pool and started playing with the turtles. There was no one else in the pool besides my brother so I ran straight to the pool. "Hey JJ is the water cold" I shouted. "No! It's fine!" He replied. I stepped in and the water was cold, but it was so hot outside so it felt good. I picked one up and it started fidgeting. I put it back down. I picked up another one and it just sat in my hands. It's shell was really shiny and it had a really cool pattern on it. I didn't want to get out of the water and stop playing with the turtles but my mom and dad wanted to move on. As slowly as I could I got out of the water and left the turtles. That was probably my favorite part of the whole trip. It was so awesome that you could actually get in the water and play with the turtles instead of just staring at them in a tank. Water
