All personal narratives should have showing not telling details and to focus on a single moment. You should also have a strong intro and closing.


What skill in writing do you feel you are very good at and can help others?
I am good at describing single objects or places. I am also good at making a strong intro and closing.



What skill in writing do you feel that you should improve in?
I need to improve on focusing on a single moment because my stories can be all over the place. If I'm connecting two stories, they don't really go together.

 Q: Why is a project like the Revolutionary War Hero Project a good one?
 
A: I think it's a good project because we should know how life was like back then. Also I know a lot more about Martha Washington then I did before this project.

Q: What is one thing that you learned about your hero that you found interesting that other people probably don't know?

A: I learned that Martha got married twice because her first husband Daniel Parke Custis died. Another thing I learned was that Martha died of a fever on May 22. That must of been a bad fever!

Q: Explain how you would have liked to use ThingLink on an activity that we did earlier in the year.  Which activity was it?  How would you have used the tags?  Why would that have been a good use of our class time?

A:  I would of liked to use ThingLink because it is a cool way to learn about something and it's fun to make. We could of used it for Literature Circles. We could of used the tags to explain certain parts of the book and make short videos about it. It would of been a good use of class time because it's a good way to explain the book without giving everything away.
