1. What do you know about NASA's plans to visit Mars?
2. How long will the trip take?
3. What supplies and equipment will the astronauts need to survive there?
4. What do you think are the risks of traveling to such a distant planet?

Answers

1. The people in NASA things it will be like the pioneers going west.  They will need to find ways to make food so way at mars.  With recycling there food water and even urine.   
   
2. It will take six months to fly there.
3. They need something to exercise with. They also will need water and food and some place to keep them safe from meteor rushes.
   
4. You could run out of food or water. Also if you don't exercise your bones can get brittle
5. I would want to bring my favorite food.  Also I would want the special water bottles in the video with water too.

Notes on what they wanted to find out on the first man mission to mars:
-  They  wanted know if they can get humans to live there.
-  They wanted to know if there was a way to recycle the food and water.
-  They also wanted to know if life lived on mars.
-  They also wanted to get different rocks and minerals.
-  They wanted to know if there used to be life living on mars.
-  They wanted to figure out the best way to get there and back.
