I was being pulled up into the sky right out of the lake going at super speed. Then suddenly.............I was up in some kind of magical white city in the sky. It looked beautiful but then after awhile something was happening. One minute I was up in the sky, the next I'm shooting back down to the ground at rapid speeds and the clouds turned dark. Then I saw a lot of other raindrops that looked just like me and I was glad I wasn't the only one plummeting down to my death. The ground was really close now so I closed my eyes, and braced for the worst. My body was all over the ground now and I was moving like a stream toward a crack in the ground real fast, but I was astonished that I was even alive.

Eagles don't use water very much but when they do It is in interesting ways. They don't actually drink the water, but instead get water from the food that they eat. They don't use any to clean because they pick at their feathers to clean themselves.

After reading about some of the problems that we could have on Mars I'm becoming a little more worried about the trip when we arrive. One of the problems are the very dangerous dust storms that can happen while we are on Mars. People can get separated by the lack of visibility and they can last for weeks or more! Another problem that worries me is the frigid temperatures that are there. It could damage our gear so we would need to be sure that our spacesuits could withstand the cold weather that can take place on Mars. I think it will be hard for Sven Lundqvist because all of his equipment that he sets up to tell if a storm is coming or not could freeze and get destroyed in the temperatures. My last worry is the uneven land that is all over Mars. Since I'm an architect, It will be hard to build anywhere on the surface of Mars so it would take awhile to find flat land anywhere.

The most common water use was definitely for drinking. The most unusual water use was for using it to wet your hair.

This is from the Story Liberation of Gabriel King and I found 2 moments when Frita was acting very brave and this story will explain why she was being brave.

    I went to the pool one time and this is how it went. It was when I was still little and I decided to go down the drop slide in the diving well. It looked like it was really high up even though it actually isn't that high. As I started to walk up the steps I saw that there was only 1 person in line so I didn't have much time to think about it. When I heard the lifeguard say "Okay you can go now" I knew that it was my turn so I went down. I went speeding down and plunged deep into the water with my eyes closed. I started to lose sense of direction since I was so deep down and I was panicking. I finally found my way up gasping for air and floated over to the ladder.
     "I think I'm gonna try the diving board next time" I said as I was climbing up out of the water onto dry, warm, land. After that I went to the snack bar to get some food to calm down and relax.
