Surface Water Sand Rocky Mountain Tree Bark Tree Leaves | Prediction I think the water will just get completely absorbed by the cup of water. I think that the sand will absorb the water with no trouble and that part of the sand will get wet. I think that the water will sink straight through the rocks, due to the gaps in them. I think when the water goes on it will just roll off the tree bark. I predict that the water will roll off the very tip of the leaf and onto the ground. | Actual When the water hit the cup of water it made some water shoot up and look like waves. When the water went into the sand it got absorbed just like I predicted. When the water hit the rocks It got more absorbed than I thought, but still went down to the bottom. I was right because all it did was roll off and there wasn't a lot of absorption. I was also right this time because the water did exactly what I thought It would do. | Reflection I was surprised at how the water reacted as the water went into it. I didn't expect that the part of the sand that got hit by the water to harden into one thing. I did not expect the rocks to absorb as much water as they did. What surprised me was that some of the water stayed on top of the bark. I didn't think that the water would weigh the tip of the leaf down as much as it did. |
Raindrop Story
I was being pulled up into the sky right out of the lake going at super speed. Then suddenly.............I was up in some kind of magical white city in the sky. It looked beautiful but then after awhile something was happening. One minute I was up in the sky, the next I'm shooting back down to the ground at rapid speeds and the clouds turned dark. Then I saw a lot of other raindrops that looked just like me and I was glad I wasn't the only one plummeting down to my death. The ground was really close now so I closed my eyes, and braced for the worst. My body was all over the ground now and I was moving like a stream toward a crack in the ground real fast, but I was astonished that I was even alive.
