Answers

I know that the trip will take a very long time and they will be on Mars a very long time. I also know that very advanced technology is required to send a rocket ship to the planet.
The trip will take approximately two and a half years long, wow!

Some supplies that they would need to take to survive are food, water, cloths, and things to take samples of the rock on mars.

Some of the risks are food, and NASA is wondering how the astronauts will get back to earth when they end up landing in mars.

Some things that I would bring with me to mars would be basic survival tools like food, water, something fun to do, and a space suit obviously.

Some of the goals when they got on mars was to collect samples and try to survive as long as they can, while of course having a back up plan of some sort. What they would take with them exactly is unsure and one of the few unanswered questions that the scientists still argue over. One scientist related it back to the early pioneers and how they brought barely anything with them when they traveled.
