Humans Human Adaptations: We have adapted to our planet, Earth by having two arms on ether side of our body so you can reach in both directions. We also have knee joints to walk and bent comfortably. We have two eyes to see in all directions. | Aliens Alien Adaptations: On this planet the ground is rocky and bumpy and these legs help hold the rocks. This beak allows the alien to pick berries off the bushes. The tall eyes allow the creature to see over hills and tall rocks Above is what I think an alien would need tho look like to live on that planet. |
Reflection:
- Do we have cells similar to the aliens you created? How or why not? We do not because their body parts look different and unusual, that means that the aliens' cells are working differently.
- Humans (and probably aliens) have cells that have special functions. What are some of these cells and what organs and systems are they a part of? Give at least three examples and be specific. (Example: Osteoclasts are cells that make up spongy bone inside of many of our bones. This is part of the skeletal system.) T lymphocytes, are part of the cellular immune system. There are two types of Tlymphocytes cells: cytotoxic T lymphocytes cells and helper T lymphocytes cells. And Basophils are white blood cells they are responsible for allergic reactions. Then B lymphocytes, are produced in the bone marrow. They are responsible for the production of antibodies.
