I think we spent so much time learning about the causes of the revolutionary war because first it is important to learn about Americas history and/or time line. Second is that we will need this information in the future.
These effects that happened can have multiple causes like the Boston Massacre. There was the colonists making fun of the British by calling them "lobster backs". Then who could forget the British wounding 6 colonists and killing 5 colonists. And the colonists not getting a part in the laws that the British make. Another couple causes is the Tea Act, Stamp Act, and the Sons of Liberty were some of the other causes of the Revolutionary War. One huge cause of the war is when the British soldiers moved to the land sent from England or the king.
