Us America's army was a group of farmers and others in the colonies who may own a gun for purposes of hunting. They were hardly even an army, and even if they were, they were near the bottom of the list as far as how strong they were. They had small numbers. | Britain Britain was one of the strongest armies in the world. Their guns were all the same. They were not exactly accurate, but they were more so than ours. The soldiers were all trained well. Their numbers were giant, many times bigger than ours. |
Why I Think We Won
Before the Tug-of-War I think America won in the end because they were using illegal "gorilla warfare," or killing without lining up and continuously shooting at each other. This would usually result in a large fine, but I think we didn't get this fine because all those who saw it never lived to tell of it. | After the Tug-of-War Now, I think we won for three reasons, none of them "gorilla warfare."
Then, when other countries came into play, I understood that America had lots more French soldiers than Britain had Hessians. |
