    I predict the conductors in order from best to worst are copper, brass, aluminum, plastic, wood.

1. Describe how the heat energy transferred from the hot plate to the butter.The hot water heated up the rod and melted the butter.

3. Which of the tested materials were the two best conductors? Copper and brass. What is your evidence? They Dropped first.
   
4. Which of the tested materials were the two worst conductors? Wood and plastic. What is your evidence? Wood and plastic dropped last.
5. Do you think water is a good or poor conductor? Yes  Why?Because the water heated up the rod and melted the butter.
