1.It all got absorbed by the sand but then when we started to put more water than 10 drops we started to see the sides of the cup get dark and then it started to go threw the paper.
2.It is like really what happens underground because the ground doesn't take in the water right away like the sand did but once it does it goes right to the rocks pretty fast like in real life.
3. Based on the information I knew that a drop of water can go pretty fast or get absorbed in less then 1 second. But we now know that it could go all the way down to elevation layer.
4. I think that humans use water in the ground to water there plants or make the ground less dry. Also people use it to make wells and get water. I do not think that this is easy because they need to dig and work hard.
5. They get it by drilling it up with tubes or for my example with the wells they might use buckets witch pull up the water in the bucket.
6.I think that it can move a lot after it goes threw the first layer of soil because it can go through the rock and the sand and gravel. But once it reaches the bedrock it does not go anywhere.
7.Yes because I thought once it get sucked up that it didn't go anywhere else but it turns out that it goes way farther down than that and it does not really stop moving. And it sometimes even takes what it went threw like the sand.

    As we where resting today we got to live like king's. It was great we could play all day and swim and clean ourselves all day in the water. One game we played was hide and go seek. I only one once out of 12 games. Then we played tag and cat's cradle. I was very could at cat's cradle even thought it is more of a girly game. For tag I like to be "it" so I was "it" for all 6 rounds. Then once we where bored of all those games we got to jump start into the lake in our underwear. I could cool of and clean myself.  Finally my mom called me to eat. I was kind of mad at her because I had to stop playing. Back when it was 2150 I don't even know if I had this much fun with my IPhone 567. But I quickly took back saying that because the food was amazing we got rabbit stew with potatoes and other vegetables that the men hunted and gathered this morning, and we even had an apple cobbler for desert! Normally we just eat leftover food and I guess that is going to be how it is for the whole trail but today was different and the food was amazing. I thought I was back in 2150 eating at a world class designed restaurant that is worth like a quarter billion dollars. The day was almost over when I realized that I had to do my chores. And that feeling made my heart drop I had to,
Collect firewood
Helping adults milk the cows
Helping adults feed the stock animals
Gathering cow dung (in chip form) for the fires
Older children helped skin game that was caught
Fetch water from nearby streams
Hung beef jerky to dry, this was all very hard. And I had to do it before it was pitch black outside. So after this riveting day I was stuck doing chores. But I guess now that I am done with all my chores I can spend the next two days having fun and playing. Also when I was doing my chores I had to rest the animals because now they are going to walk like 40 mile tomorrow. And if they do we will make great time. I can't wait till tomorrow and to see how far all this resting helped the animals.

1.People have a hard time finding clean water because they might live in a place where they can not reach or get the water through pipes. Like for example people in Arizona have a hard time getting water because it is all a desert. Or in Africa how do they find water? Well they go to places where it is an oasis or little creek, and we still don't know if that is even clean and safe for them to drink. So it is definitely a challenge to find water in some places to drink.
2.I think that there is 5% fresh water on the Earth.
3. I think that there is 95% water on Earth that is salt.
4. I think that there is 50% air water, 20% ground water, 10% surface water, and 20% Ice water out of 5%.

     I will bring stuff to defend my so that I can stay alive I I get attacked by a bear or something. If you look below there those are some pictures of the animals we might see. A soccer ball. That does not cost to much money and doesn't take up that much space. Including farming usages because we are going to Oregon to farm and get money from that. Some animals that we  could also kill would be like buffalo because those would be lot's of food. To go with farming though I will need a hoe a shovel and stuff like that. I will bring that though from independence Missouri because that is the cheapest. So I think that this would be the best place to my supplies but I will also need stuff that I will buy in Oregon. But if I take to much stuff I will not have any space. So I am going to have to make some big decisions. Also this was very interesting because I need 6 axles to buy right away because when we are riding to Oregon the axles may break and we will need extra's. But we can buy more at each fort. That is also a very big decision.
