REFLECTION

(Emma's Part)
We learned a lot about Disney World and a lot about Walt Disney. We learned all about how and why Walt Disney created Disney World. We also learned his background information like his family and when he died. We also learned about the water parks, rides, places to eat, and places to stay. We learned so much about Disney World!

(Jill's Part)
I really enjoyed this passion time project because it taught me about a place I really like that I did not know much about. I didn't know that there are so many fun rides to go on mare than 100 rides. And I thought that Walt Disney was just a man that made Disney but he has a very interesting life and story we learned so much in the 9 periods of passion time.

Dear Jill & Emma,

I enjoyed reading and watching your passion project on Disney World. I have been there with my family and it really is a magical place. I couldn't help but think of the movie, "Saving Mr. Banks" when I saw your project. The movie focuses on Walt Disney and the making of Mary Poppins. Walt Disney was an awesome guy with a lot of amazing ideas.
I teach 4th grade in Wisconsin (about 30 miles west of Milwaukee in a town called Merton) and I've always wanted to try passion projects with my students and after reading about your project you have inspired me to do so. Would you mind if I shared your project with my class as an example to show them?

Wow! I love your Genius Hour Project! {Thats what we call it in our class instead of Passion Project}. It looked extremley helpful as I was watching the video! The information looks great and it seems like a very helpful website for family's that want to visit Disney World! I love the survey that you added and a blog if you want to ask questions. The other thing I liked about it is that I never really thought about someone wanting to know about a place and then teach it to others...Very Cool!
You guys did a great job on this Genius Hour project! Keep up the good work!

Wow, what a great genius hour project! I especially liked how you guys took the time and effort and created a website. I love how you showed where you could stay at disney world and you guys even linked them up to a travel website. I learned a lot about disney world I can not believe there are 4 theme parks! That is so cool how you have a screen recording of your website. Great job with your project I loved it!

I loved your passion project!!! I absolutely LOVE Disney and my family goes every other summer so I will definitely use that info. I always thought that Walt Disney was a guy who got lucky and got famous. But your website shows that he had rough times and was that crazy guy with an imagination for a while until someone decided to trust him with his idea. Amazing job!!!!!!!!!

Hi, I'm Jennifer from Mr. Hodge's Class in Johns Creek, GA. I loved how you not only described the present place of Disneyworld, but you also included the history of Walt Disney and how he made it. After reading your wonderful passion project, I'm still wondering if any people helped Walt Disney make up Disneyworld?

Thanks everyone, and I'm sorry it took so long to respond to you! I really appreciate your considerate comments, and I hope that you use this as a guide to Disney World if you ever go. For any of you that have asked me questions, I'm sorry I wasn't able to answer them all in our website. But, I'm thankful for your suggestions on what to do to make it better, and I think it will help me in the next Passion Projects. Thanks!
