I knew our trip back home to Earth was going to be a lot faster, but not nearly as fast as this! Our tragic end to making a living on Mars was sudden, but I know we all worked really hard and I'm pound of everyone. After running out of water, the choice was clear. We had to go home. I was actually very excited that our trip would only take a week. The fact that going from planet to planet was only going to take us that long is incredible! The trip was going smoothy, but quickly turned bad then even worse. We loaded up the ship with important materials, and got ready to use the fuel that we had made on Mars to fly back faster on the ship. We made our final goodbyes, collecting many souvenirs and then got on the rocket. We finally blasted of and began our trip. At first we didn't realize the problem, but then everybody seemed to figure out what was really happening. We were going so fast...and everything just fell apart. We tried to find some way to slowdown, but turning the ships engine around didn't seem to help. I wasn't sure if we weren't even able to do it, or it just didn't work. Everyone was tense and really worried. Many of us believed this was the end, but I just couldn't get myself to think that. All I could do was panick. I was definatly not in the mood for a crash landing in the middle of no where. Some how we found are self testing one of Einstein's theorys. If you were to travel faster than the speed of light you would go back in time. From all I know, we definatly did. All the way back to the year of 1848!!! We landed in only about 10 minutes, and boarded of the ship. When we got in contact with NASA we found out that it must be true. They found out are coordinates, but we were nowhere near where they had said. And from our prespective we were in the middle of a desert of some sort. Buffallos were the only life we could see, untill we ran into some interesting people that told us the date. Whatever happens next will be a big adventure that I hope will bring us back to my old life with my family, that I'm worried sick I will never ever see again.

I am really scared to and I wish that we could stay on Mars longer but our stupid water problem, we had to leave and I wanted to stay on there for seven years and we stayed on there for more like five months.

I also realised we might be tampering with the fabric of time- what has happened to our selves in our own time? And what about the other people in our time? Have their lives stopped, or have they kept going while the time here in 1848? And of course, Einstein's famous equation (I can't quite get the order right, but I am pretty sure that it contains a E, an m, a c, a =, and a 2.) might be questioned.
