Today We read a book about energy sources. Coal and oil is running out so we should use hydro power, Geothermal power, or Solar energy. Each of the energy sources has a couple problems. So we should use a variety of energy sources except for coal and oil because those are running out.  

The book Pie is about a person named Polly Portman that was a really good pie maker. She won thirteen Blueberry awards. they were awards given to the best pie maker. After Polly passed away she left her pie crust recipe to her cat Lardo. Alice Polly's niece inherits Lardo. everyone tries to steal the cat to get the recipe. Finally They notice that Polly left the pie crust recipe to "Lardo!" the company, not Lardo the cat.


I would rate this book four stars because their was a good mystery that was hard to solve and a good twist at the end.

The past couple of days we have really gotten to understand the 21 century skills. The "Think Creatively" means use a wide range of techniques to solve questions. The second one means work hard not just for a reward. This is making me a 21 century student because one: we use technology. But that is not all. I know how to act and think.

    I was a little bit surprised that President Obama won the election because Romney won more states. Although I was happy that president Obama won the election because I was routing for President Obama. I wanted President Obama to win because I thought that he could lower our countries debt if we gave him another chance. The pattern I noticed was that the rural parts of America was republican. Also the states with a large population was democratic.

We made a video about our energy source. The video explained everything that was on the video. The poster was hard to make. The part of the poster that was the hardest was the piechart.
