In school we are doing a presidential election.We are split in groups called Democratic,Republican and the Green party. We 

 Today in class we learned how the leaves turn colors.(Red) When the seasons change the leaves turn different colors, but how???
There are is thing called anthocyanins this is what turns the leaves red. The anthocyanins protect leaves from sun damage so when winter comes the tree and leaves won't freeze . This also helps them to stay on the tree longer. This lets the tree to have more time to gain more nutrients from its leaves. (Yellow and Orange) There is a thing that is called a pigment it holds all the yellow and orange colors. The way the leaves are green is the chlorophyll. It turns off when the air gets cooler. The tree knows that the seasons are changing so it will freeze if the leaves are still green. When the leaves turn brown that means all of the waste in the tree that the tree doesn't need.

Today we went to the historical reenactment we saw all of these cool characters and settings of the place they worked or did. The first person we saw was a man named David he was a musket artist and in the army. He told my partner to go run to the yellow flag  after the guns shot. After the guns shot my partner ran to the flag and the rest of the group walked over after. We were dived by if we were Irish or Scottish. Then he pulled me Erin and Corrinne after that he gave us new last names. Then the colinist wanted my group to trade food  and we would have to fight in the war and risk our lives, we all decide no so then King georg said" if we do it he will give us 200 archers of land or everyone in our family and granteuu that we will stay alive. After that we heard the bell and moved on to the next person who was Laura Gordon She was a hair stylest she made wigs for men and female. Laura made the wigs of hotse hair goat hair and human hair. She also pulled teeth, she would use pliyers to pull the tooth out. Also she used clay curlers that heat up so she could do her job. The next person we saw was Zeb. made barrels,coffins and shingles. He made these things with all difernt kinds of tools. we saw him make a shingle if you wanted it shaped he'd use something more speacil. The next person me and my partner saw was a man named Captin Maggins he was an explorer. He used a lot of things to survie in the wild.They were very creative with everything they have. They had an eyeglass to make fire during day light. and they had copper cups that were lined with aluminum so the hot coco or what ever they had in it would stay warm for a long time while they were out exploring the forest or where ever they might be doing. The next person we saw was Josph O'Fallon he was a trapper that they caught Beaver and fox. When we were there we saw that they had a fire ( a real fire) that they were cooking rabbit. He came around with Beaver and Fox pelt. The Beaver pelt was softer then the fox pelt.  The next person we saw was Master Douous Linmetchant,  he was made clothes and cloth maker. The next person was Mrs. Jonson she was she runs an Ordinary she offers food and a place to stay for travelers. The next person we saw was Katherine Caird is a school is a teacher and told us that only wealthy people got REALLY REALLY REALLY good education.  The next person we saw was Peter Smith he was a ranger that protected all of the town. He loved to do

Since we were learning about parts of speech. (Adjectives, Nouns, Pronouns, Verbs, Adverbs, Conjuntion's, Prepostion's, Interjections.) We did a Mad Lib to practice our parts of speech.

  Me and my partner Insulated our bottle with reused blue jean instalation,newspaper, and bubble wrap. Then we put the bottle in an ice bath. We had 10 samples per minute and we had 20 minutes for the experiment. Are temputares were really good the instlation was perfect. It was really, really, really, really, really, really fun me and my partner had lots of fun during the experiment.

Today is Mr. Badynee's birthday today so we made him cards online they are super cool! We all made one for him then we e-mailed them to him. We did this for him because he was the one that got us most of the techongly that we use in are class. It was fun to make these cards I thought it was really nice of Mr. Solarz to think of Mr. Babnee and help us to do some thing really nice as well!!!!!  

This is a Tessellation we learned about them on Thursday. Now we are doing more fun things with them. We are doing it online and with pattern blocks.
