-The way that the senses work is the brain gets a fast message and then relying on that message the brain makes a command.
What's going on in Mr. Solarz' Class? |

-I think that the most difficult sense to rely on catching a ruler was touch because it was hard to drop a ruler and touch someone at the same time.

In the timeline simulation I learned that without all the people that were in the Second Continental Congress then there would be no Declaration of Independence. I would break away from England because I would not just sit there and let King George III just make me run out of money in one measly month.
Pretty much all the things on the poster that we made were really hard because we usually had to look in the book to see if the things we wrote were right or not because some of our facts were really complicated. Then once we figured out the right things to write down then we went over it in permanent marker it was fun to make. Making the poster WAS TOUGH but it was worth it because if you were one of the judges in the energy debates and you walk by OUR POSTER you would look at it and go ""hey I hope that they include that in the energy debates because that is good!!!!"" So that's why I think that everyone should get to have there own poster because it's good for the debates and that's why I think that the posters are important.
Here is the credit to whoever made this picture http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/6/69/Crash_Book.jpg/250px-Crash_Book.jpg What I thought of the book was that it was making you wish that the book never ended because you never knew what was going to happen next. Like when Mike came into the story I had no idea when he was going to pop up into the story. I was blown away by the detail the book made sure that you knew what everybody looks like in the book and Mr.Spinelli I would definetly reccomend on making a second CRASH. In the apple core I learned that if you take an apple seed out of an apple then the shell is very, very, very hard and dense. The thing that I never realized was that apples have an almost unlimited amount of juice in them. I also learned that you cannot dissect an apple in just any spot on the apple. you have to go in some specific spots that are very hard to find (not really). I was surprised about the amount of juice that the apple had. It makes me wonder how the scientists take the juice out of the apple. I think that observing and describing is important to science because scientists these days want to know every little detail so they can make an impression to other scientists. In the 1900's huge amounts of oil were being pumped. Fossil fuels powered many advances in the world in over the last 200 years! The first big oil discovery was in the mid 1970's.
Yesterday me and my group at my table learned about the 21st century skills and how to do them. The 21st t century packet helped me but it is taking slow effect it's still working but it's taking slow effect on EVERYBODY. To me it feels like some of the 21st century skills are coming easy to everybody. To make these posters it took kind of a long time to make posters but I powered through, and that's all I have to say for myself. I chose these two things because I thought that they were both very, very, very important to myself.I think that these skills are important because they will be essential to us in our future.
