What Desserts Are Common In Asia And How Are They Different From Desserts In America- By: Annie B.10/18/2013 My K-W-H-L-A-Q Chart
ReflectionI learned a lot about desserts while doing passion time. I learned about some new desserts that I had never heard of before which I thought was cool. I also learned about some interesting recipes and ingredients. I also learned about how Asian and American desserts are the same and how they are different.

I enjoyed watching your video Annie. Your website looks good as well. I would have enjoyed seeing a T-Chart or a Venn Diagram comparing American and Asian desserts to see what qualities are similar and different. I wonder if you could make some generalizations like Asian desserts often look like pieces of art whereas American desserts might not place as much importance on beauty, etc. Nice job, though!

Thanks! I ran out of time to put the names under the desserts but if I have extra time I will. I actually didn't try out any of the recipes but I should of.

I was left wondering about the style they have their desserts in? Do they make pies, cookies? I really want to know. Thank you and keep up the good work.

Try adding the names of the Asian desserts just in case someone wants to try it, but keep up the great work.

Another thing to think about is that all American desserts originate from some other place. Some of our desserts could have come from Asia and some from other countries or continents too. This also made me think about the cultural differences that causes the cooking to be so different from country to country.

Another thing to consider is I think you might want to compare similarities and differences about American and Asian dessert.

I think that you should include how you knew which were American recipes and which were Asian

I discovered that Asian desserts look a lot like american desserts from bakery's like the layered coffee looks a lot like jello. I wouldn't just show differences I would show similarities too.
