Hi again! We have just landed and I was almost unable to walk because of my new weight on Earth. We were traveling so fast when landing, our new energy source we created and we went faster than the speed of light and we went back in time thanks to one of Einstein's theories. We have met settlers from 1848 moving west and they offered to let us join them. We have not yet decided on our answer but I am nervous to get back to 2112. I have not yet contacted my family but I hope to soon. I miss England and all my friends but it's nice to take a break from pulling teeth. I believe in all of those ridiculous ideas about messing up the fabric of time so I wonder what it will be like when we come back if we messed up all the time. I really want to go home and well to our own time but it would be really cool to go to Brittan and see what it was like before my time and see everything I studied in history class.
We have finally blasted off! I am very glad we are bringing wifi because my daughter was devistated when I told her I would be gone for around 8 years. I have been getting calls all day and I know she will be excited when I see her and I get to re-meet her when I come back. My Scarlette, will be 9 when I come back and she may possibly not remember me. I wish her small bones were able to sustain the zero gravity zone.
I am looking out of my bunk window and everything seems so dark. We have tied ourselfs to our bunk and my legs are feeling like jelly. It is hard to breathe. I am getting to know the girls in my cabin better like Kade Bahari, Britta Larson, Hava Raya, and Kristin Gola. We play fun games like who can do the coolest tricks in the zero gravity. Sometimes it can be a bit clastrophobic but you get used to it. I think I broght 5 suitcases and I'm hoping Scarlette didn't hop into one at the last second. I am working with Raja Bello (he is a Doctor) in the medical group and my new friend Kade Bahari (she is a nurse). They are very creative and come up with lots of ideas. Well my first five days have been interesting and productive. I wish though there was more gravity sometimes. I have been getting minor headaches and I feel car sick but I think it is "rockrt sick" :):):) My new friends and I are sharing memories of our children our husbands and our childhood memories. I love hearing about their cultures and where they're from and whe they were chosen and why they accepted. I wonder when we willl get there. Right now I am floating upside down I my space suit with my laptop. It is so dark and I don't know if it is night or day. I guess I'll I am so excited to fly into the world beyond! I cannot wait to adventure into space, I will zoom through the sky like the international space station! I am so happy that I will meet people from other countries and that I can learn about their cultures. I will love to help keep everybody's teeth from rotting. I am very interested in meeting Nabili Ngoumba she is from Swaziland. Her cultures seem very interesting to me as I read her blog and job application.
I also look forward to traveling with Britta Larson. She is from Sweden and she is a energy creator we were pen pals in 7th grade. I am very happy to be traveling into the stars but I will miss my Husband and daughter. I will also miss my co-workers Hermionie and Charles. My two year old daughter, Scarlette just came down with the flue and it will be quite difficult for me to handle the mars trip while I know that my husband Mason will take good care of her. Right now I am packing and Scarlette is jumping on my bed and Mason is at work. I cannot wait to meet Britta in person. Hopefully the 6-7 years will go by quickly so I can see my grown up girl. |
