Our maximum tempature was 93.6 degrees, but our minimum was 67.9, plus the extra point that we got because our group was doing something wrong, so our difference was 26.7. The materials we used were nylon on the bottle, fur in the middle, and bubble wrap on the top. We chose nylon because we thought it would keep most of the heat in, then we chose fur because we thought it would make the water in the bottle a little warmer. Then, finally, we chose bubble wrap because we thought it would keep the coldness of the water away from the warm water. One of the materials we didn't choose was aluminum foil because we knew it was a conductor, and would make the warm water colder very fast. We also didn't choose wax paper because we thought it would have little efect on keeping the water warm. The graph suddenly went down really far because we accidently let the tempature prob touch the bottom. Then the prob got lifted up, so the graph went up. Finally we kept the prob in the right place, so it stayed mostly straight. I think a insolater is a poor conductor of heat energy because instead of letting the heat pass through it, it captures it and keeps the heat. that is why materials that are insolaters make the best
