Picture
 http://soccerkick1.weebly.com/

Please look at the website I created

What Do I Know?

  • It was invented a long time ago.
  • The first world cup was in 1930.

What Do I Want To Know?

  • How it was invented?
  • What are the origins ?
  • What's the history?

How Will I Learn the Information?

  • Look at websites.
  • Look at videos.

What Have I Learned?

  • China was the first country known to have some form of kicking a Ball
  • They used to do break-aways instead of a penalty shoot-out.

What Action Will I Take?

  • I will create a website and a video.

What New Questions Do I Have?

  • Where in China was the first trace of soccer found.
  • When did the soccer hall of fame get created.

My Reflection

This Passion Project round was really interesting and I learned so much. I bet I could have done a little better in time management. But I think my final website was descent and it got a couple hits. But my video could have been a little better. But otherwise it was a good round.

Reflection:

It was a lot of fun doing this project because I got to research a very interesting topic. Also It was fun creating my Google Doc and I liked seeing my project when It was all complete because It felt good to see all my finished work. It took a long time to do this and I was a little behind but I managed to finish on the last day that we had to work on It It was also stressful when I was really behind because I had to do a lot of work to catch up and It started to become not fun.

This was a really cool passion time project I got to learn a lot about therapy dogs. I also I loved how I got to meet all the dogs that will be my new part time job when I am old enough (you have to be 18 years old). The dogs now so much. When they did a good job they got to play but they had to do a good job first.

This is a video about me exclaiming how the universe was created.
This is my website I created. If you want to see it click below or click on the picture.

My K-W-H-L-A-Q

What do I know?

I now that there was a huge explosion of a tiny proton that made our universe.

What do I want to know?

I want to know now it happened and what it made.

How do I find out

I have to find out by researching and learning what happened at this time and why it exploded.

What have I learned?

I have learned that there was a main proton that made the universe and that it took less than a second to make. But I can not tell you how it was made because everybody has there own perspective.

What action will I take?

I will make a video and a little blog showing all that I learned.

What new questions

The new questions that I have are how was this taken place without anything being left? But mankind might never find this out.

My Reflection

The things that I have learned is that the universe will never be done being explored. The things that I have been able to figure out is that the universe can go on and on forever, but if it does we will never be done making mankind around because there has to be on galaxy in  the 10 to the 100 sexsillion power. The universe is being destroyed evrery second and is being created every second. The universe really is a wonder.

What Do I Know

  1. I know I have to make the White House
  2. I know that I probably won't finish in time
  3. It must be on creative

What Do I Want To Know

  1. Will I finish in time?
  2. Will it look anything like the White House
  3. Can I get the inside structure finished

How Will I Find Out

  1. Work hard to TRY and finish
  2. Finish at least the outside structure

What I learned

  1. I learned that building topics in Minecraft is harder than it looks.
  2.  I learned that when building a monument get a picture to refer to.

What Action Will I Take

  1.  I will try this again in my free time
  2. I will keep going back during the year

What New Questions Do I Have

  1. How will I put the rooms in?
  2. How can I do the American flag
  3. How will I advance it during the year

Reflection

Something definitley hard for me was the deadline. I was nowhere near done when it was at the deadline time. Something easy was uploading the video at the deadline, and the reflection. The video was easy because all I had to do was take the screenshots upload to iMovie and then to Youtube. Something I could have done better was the model or my essential question.

What Do I Know

I really don't know much about my question, but I do know that you have to be strong.

What Do I Want To Know?

I want to know all the science behind hitting a home run.

How Do I Find Out?

I will find out my question by,seeing what they have on the web.

What Have I Learned?

I have learned that you need to be a great baseball player to hit homers. It is pretty fun when you do.

What Action Will I Take?

I will tweet about my website (more my dad). I would also put it on face book (my mom will do that) and tell my friends.

What New Questions Do I Have?

Why do you need to coil your body? Why do you need to be strong? Why is baseball so hard?

My Reflection:

This was a really fun activity. It is fun because I like to learn about the thing i learned about. I also can use these facts to improve my game in baseball. It was a little frustrating that we only got two days a week to do the most fun project. Luckily we do this all year. This was my first one so I think I will be a lot better at the end of the year. Something were hard like making a website there was a lot of steps.

How did the big bang theory happen.
Picture
the big bang theories

What do I know?

I know that the universe is made of many planets and space asteroid. I also know that the big bang is the thing that created the world.

What do I want to know?

How  was it before they new all 9 planets? How was it created? How did scientist decide they wanted to find the planets.

How will I learn the information?

How do i find out about more? I will read books and go on the internet.

What have I learned?

I learned that the big bang was an atom that exploded. How the explosion was a black hole that spit out things. I will show with every thing that helps me.

What action will I take?

They could learn how the big bang happened. They could also learn how scientist fingered it out.

What questions do I have?

Why did it happen?
Could it effect use?
Could it suck use up?
What I learned is that the univers is made up of protons/
The Big Bang theory is an effort to explain what happened at the very beginning of our universe. Discoveries in astronomy and physics have shown beyond a reasonable doubt that our universe did in fact have a beginning. Prior to that moment there was nothing; during and after that moment there was something: our universe. The big bang theory is an effort to explain what happened during and after that moment.
