I know that Manatees are going extinct, and that one of the reasons why is because they get hit with the motors on boats.
I want to know other reasons they are going extinct, if there anything people can do to change this, and if people are doing things already.
I will find this out by using the internet, and good websites on manatees.
I learned lots of facts about manatees. I also learned that there are lots of reasons that manatees are dieing. There are also a lot of people trying to do something about it, and many save the manatee clubs.
The action I took was I made a website that told people that manatees are going extinct, and encouraged people to help do something about it
Why are so many manatees going extinct instead of other animals?
There are so many people trying to help change this, so why are they still going extinct?
Why do manatees like to get so close to boats?
I think I could have done a little better on this passion time, because I didn't have too much on my website. The things I had were informational though, so I think it was ok. It was fun though, because I was researching something I was really interested in, and I got to try to help an animal I cared about, so that made it fun. I was really focused the whole time, so I think I did really good. I'm glad I decided to do this last passion time on my own, because we didn't have as much time this round as normal because of the end of the year. So if I did it with someone, I don't think I would have gotten enough done. I hope my website will let people know about manatees going extinct, and encourage people to help manatees.
