Can I learn about how the Vietnam war started and ended and about the battles in between?

What I know is that the Vietnam War was between Northern and Southern Vietnam and America got involved.

What I want to know is: Why did Vietnam War start? When did it end? What were some battles in between and what happened during them.

I am going to research my questions in books I own and on the computer and research any questions I get along the

I learned about tactics the Vietnamese and American soldiers used in the war and about a battle in between the war.

I will make a Google doc and a video.

Q

I wonder what role the french played in the war because they controlled Vietnam.

Reflection:

Like everyone else I had fun with my project! I had fun because I didn't know much about the Vietnam War and my Dad was in the Vietnam War when he was really young and lived! So that pretty much doubled my interest in the topic! One thing I had trouble with was finding battles in between.

Your reflection was very well done and I see that you have learned some preliminary information regarding the Vietnam War. You should definitely study more because there are lots of very interesting things yet to be discovered. The question you posed was very good and you should definitely research more to find out!

I agree I could learn more but I am happy that I learned about it because I have had family in the Vietnam War including my Dad and luckily he lived! But others were not so fortunate and I feel bad for those families. I really would like to learn more like you suggested and thank you for complementing my topic/question. Thank you! (Also I suggest that you look at my other passion times/genius hours if you are interested in history!)

This was a big topic to tackle and a good one to think about. I like that you asked why it started. What do you think could have been done to prevent it? What was the most difficult or disturbing thing you learned about the war? Now that you know more about the wars, do you think they are ever justified? Thank you for sharing. I learned too!

Thanks Jena! I am happy that you learned something from this and to be honest I didn't have very much fun with this but like you I learned a lot and I am happy to be informed! So thank you for your time and for sending your comment! Also the most disturbing thing I learned was probably how many people died.
