"Man Tock! Haven't we been walking for quite a while?" Milo asked.
"Yeah. I guess we have been. Why don't we take a break right over there... by those rocks?"
"Good idea," Milo began, "I'm really getting tired. I hope we find Rhyme and Reason soon!"
"Hello my good men!" came a voice from the other side of a boulder. "Did I hear you correctly? You are looking for Rhyme and Reason is it?"
"Yes maam!" they all shouted, excited that someone so normal as this ordinary-looking woman might be willing to help them on this quest.
"Well you've come to the right place gentlemen! I am the Honorable Civil Court Judge Indigo D. Sisive, but you can call me Judge Indecisive."
"Hello your honor. We're so glad we ran into you! We have a few questions and were wondering if you could take a few minutes to give us a little information?"
"Why sure young lads, what can I do for you?"
"We were wondering if you could tell us the secret that King Azaz was warning us about before we set out on this journey."
"Ahhh. A tough one indeed, let me look through my law books here. Hmmmm. It says here that I can explain the law and various precedents that have been set. But it says that a judge may not share his or her opinions on legal matters. It doesn't say anything about interpreting King's secrets. Wow! This is quite a dilemma! I'm going to have to say I don't know because it is such a gray area in the law books!"
"No problem. Maybe you can tell us if thinking and laughing are really against the law in the Doldrums!" Milo asked inquisitively.

"Ahhh. A tough one indeed, let me look through my law books here. Hmmmm. It says here that the Lethargians who live in the Doldrums have enjoyed a peaceful and quiet community for 50 years now and have written in laws and rules that provide for the continuation of that serenity. But it also says that laws and rules cannot be made up unless there is an important reason to make them. Wow! This is quite a dilemma! I'm going to have to say I don't know because it is such a gray area in the law books!"
"Oh. OK then." Milo was beginning to wonder what kind of judge this woman really was. Why was she so indecisive about things? Why couldn't she make up her mind about anything?
"Well, can we ask one final question?
"Of course! I love the law, ask away!!!" Judge Indecisive exclaimed.
"We understand that there has been a battle between words and numbers here in The Lands Beyond. We were wondering which is more important: Words or Numbers."
"Ahhh. A tough one indeed, let me look through my law books here. Hmmmm. It looks as though there has been a long history of important words. Words seem to be extremely valuable in our society, so I would probably have to say that words are more important... but then again, it seems as though numbers have been held in high esteem as well for thousands of years! Wow! This is quite a dilemma..." she continued talking but Milo, Tock, and the Humbug decided that they had more important places to be. So they slowly snuck away from the judge and continued on their adventure.
