Travel Log Entry 2

    I have felt alive ever since our space ship took foot off Earth. I'm am so excited to have finally lifted of! So far I have meet up with the builder and carpenter. We put our minds together and figured out many ways to create shelter on Mars. I also talked with the scientist about the weather and tried to find ways to improve my designs. I'm so thankful for all the advise and consideration people have provided during our long journey. Their cultures and backgrounds really interested me to learn even more. I have actually discovered people from were I am from, Brazil. I also learned much more about Mars and its specific characteristics. I surely know this will help a lot on Mars. All at once I still can't believe that i actually get to go to Mars were no one has ever set foot. This is such a big honor and I am overjoyed to be apart of this great space project.
   
    I love spending time with everybody on board. We play games and share jokes, but at the same time we all are learning a lot about each other. I'm glad that the physiologist doesn't have to worry much. :) We get along very well. I look foreword to finding out what kind of delicious cuisines the chef has to offer. Especially because shes from Italy! Overall I am very happy that i will be going to Mars. My one and only regret is leaving my family, but I know they will for sure look foreword to seeing me on the Skype telling them all about my discoveries and accomplishments. I can't wait to finally land on Mars!
