Students learn about how the Electoral College system works in regards to voting for president. Students analyze the Electoral College map and make inferences as to which states the candidates should focus on campaigning. They also research which states the candidates have been spending their time in so far. Read the comments to see what my students discovered and inferred! This infographic has a lot of information, and in my opinion, contains generalizations.
We will create T-Charts comparing the generalizations between democrats vs. republicans. We will create word clouds to show some of the positive describing words for each party. Look at the comments to see what my students thought about these generalizations. This infographic tells us a little about who in America is (and isn't) voting.
