Solution
1. One way that we can protect ourselves is from the material on the space suits. If we just always wear them we will not be affected by the Sun's Rays. This could help us stay alive. Credit: http://www.spaceanswers.com/space-exploration/how-dangerous-is-radiation-on-mars/
2. The Martian sand also would help us keep shielded. Our homes could be built on Mars from Martian sand. This Martian sand can shield us from the sun's rays. We could seal our homes with it,so the rays wouldn't get inside. Credit: http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2012/09/120918121545.htm

What we learned
We learned lots about how the Sun's rays are effective. We also learned about how we would fix this on Mars. We had to search many different ways to find a good answer. There were some that really we didn't think were real. We think the best answer out of the 2 are the martian sand. That means we could use that sand to protect our houses. We learned that sometimes you have to be really specific on the way we had to search for this one. There was also a lot of solutions that we found for Earth, but that is not a problem for us on Earth. It took a few different wordings to finally find an answer. The second problem Sam K noticed something in a caption that we didn't even notice! In conclusion we had to search in many different ways to find the answers to this problem and hopefully these answers will help us on Mars. That is are goal.
