In class we do passion time. You may wonder what passion time is, well passion time is where everyone in the class goes and does something that has something to do with education. One example is that one kid in our class named Joey showed many people how to do scratch and what it is. Now everyone in the class is doing it! I actually like to read so most of the time that is what I do. Me and a friend named Ian are reading a book called Fire together. Fire is By: Kristin Cashore. Sometimes I do Scratch too.

    The activities the increased my heart-rate the most were the running and the jumping. The ones that had my heart-rate increase the least were standing still and sitting. I think I ranked the activities in the right order because I thought about what I thought would be the highest heart-rate and the lowest heart-rate. I noticed that my heart-rate started getting higher the more active the activities became. My heart-rate changed when I was more active because my heart has to pump more blood through my body to keep it going longer.

    Some effects can have many causes, and some causes may have many effects. Like when England made the colonists pay extra taxes for stamps and tea and with that the colonists get really mad. A perfect example of this would be the Boston Tea Party. The colonists were fed up with the taxes and they ran up and dumped all the tea off the transportation ship.

I think there was a pattern on my graph because you can see that my tests were steadily going down on my graph until I cracked my knuckles and stretched my hand. Once I did that the next couple trials were higher and then it decreased again by a lot. My partner's pattern was really similar to mine because Kelly had hers start really high and then decrease a little go up a little and then go down again and then Scout had hers and it started pretty high and then it went down too. The patterns in my graph would indicate that my hand was getting really tired until I stretched it and then it went back up because I cracked my hand and then my hand got sore again and it started to go down again. I think my results were reliable because I would always check with my partners to see if they had the same number or had a number that was close.

Today in class we dissected apples and we were recording data on what observations we saw. I saw that after like 5 or so minutes the apple started to turn brown. I also saw that there were little dots all over the apple and once when I dropped an apple juice squirted out and sprayed me in the eye.

My event on the time-line was The Birth of the Constitution. The role that the constitution had was immense, it was what gave the colonists the power to get away from England. The constitution allowed them to make their own government and make their own laws.

Today we did a science experiment where one person had to drop a ruler while the other tried to catch it. The catch on it was you could only use one of the three senses that we are using, like for example you do hearing so you would have to keep your eyes closed and you couldn't touch anything. 

In class today we made a video about our biomass poster for our energy debates. I think that we did a good job on it but it was still really hard. It took us almost four days to finish it but in the end I think we came through. The hardest part was when we did the landfill in the bottom of our poster. It took at least two days to finish! Making this poster will really help us win the debate because I think that it explains a lot about our energy.

My book for this weeks summary is Skeleton Creek. Skeleton creek is one of my very favorite books. It has a mixture of mystery,creepyness,and fantasy. The first time we saw one of the movies in the classroom for our group we all were totally freaked out by it. I mean it is pretty scary(look down at the bottem). I think that when I say this the other people in my group would agree that I think that this book was a really good book to read. If you like really scary stuff that is.

    Today and Tuesday's lesson on 21st Century has really helped me so far. I can't wait until we do something even better than this. We use technology so much in the classroom that we literally have the computers every single day. We don't have them all day, but we still have them a lot.
