Surface Trees Bricks Stone Wood Windows Grass Rubber Rope Metal | Prediction I think that when the water hits the trees it will sit on the surface and then roll down the tree and eventually either absorb into the tree or fall down the tree and onto the ground. I predict that when the water hits the bricks it will Absorb the water into the brick or the water will just fall straight down on to the ground. I think that the stone will absorb the water. I think that the wood will change a darker color and eventually absorb the water and it will change back to its original color. I predict that the water will fall right down to the ground. I think that when the water hits the grass it will fall into the ground because of gravity. I think that when the water hits the rubber the water will just sit on the rubber and won't go anywhere until gravity pulls it down. I think that the rope fibers will immediately absorb the water. I think that the water will just drop one by one on to the ground. | Actual Some of the water just sat on the leaves of the tree and some immediately fell straight to the ground. When I dribbled the water onto the brick it also hit the cement and the water that hit the cement absorbed the water in. But the brick just let the water sit on the brick itself and eventually absorbed. Depending on how much water that I put on the stone, it took longer to evaporate. When I put the water on the wood the color did change into a darker color and the wood kind of absorbed the water. Right when I put the drops of water onto the window pane the water fell down but dome just stayed on the glass and spread out into little circles. When I put the Water on the grass the water got pulled straight down by gravity. But it didn't do all of the way down. Like I predicted the water just sat right on top of the rubber surface and fell straight down until gravity pulled it down. When the water hit the rope it immediately soaked up the water. When I put the drops of water on the metal surface the water fell straight down and some of it stayed on the surface until it fell by gravity. | Reflection I wasn't that surprised at the results because I've seen rain drops hit trees before so that helped support my prediction. I was kind of surprised that the water just sat on the brick and didn't fall straight down onto the ground. I was not really surprised at the results that happened after I put the water on the stone. I wasn't surprised at all will the results that happened. I was kind of shocked at the results that had happened after I had put the water on the window pane. I was kind of surprised because I thought that the water would just soak into the dirt but it stayed in the middle. My prediction was the same as the actual thing. So I wasn't that surprised. My prediction was very lose to what had happened. My prediction was kind of close to the actual thing. |
