Today me and my partner and the rest of the class with their partner had to make a crumbled up piece of paper and throw it a your partner but your partner has a piece of plastic in front of his or hers face. This experiment shows that when you flinch your nerves are working. These nerves that are working are called Sensory nerves and Motor nerves. Sensory nerves are when the nerves take information from the environment that you are in and sends that information to the brain. Then Motor nerves tell the body what to do about that information.
When my partner threw the paper wad at the plastic I flinched and twitched almost every time he threw the wad at me. This reflex would have protected my eyes if the transparency had not been there because it protects your body and the danger that might be coming.
Last month when me and my other partner did the ruler dropping reflexes I think it also had to do something with the Nervous system too. The reason why I think that the ruler dropping experiment and the paper wad throwing reflex experiment had something to do with both experiments because they both involve blinking reflexes. They involve this reflex because when you you eyes shut vaigly
