In class today we studied Muscle Fatigue and we made a graph on Create a Graph which showed how much squeezes we can squeeze on a clothespin. I had 10 trials and on my graph you can see how many squeezes I took in the course of 30 seconds. It was VERY tiring.
In the Human Body unit we were practicing muscle memory/reaction with our senses and what we did was ( If Taylor wasn't clear enough on the video ) that we took a ruler and we tested our reactions with touch, listening, and sight skills . My answers for page 16 were:
1. I think it was more difficult when I had my eyes closed. 2. When I smell the scent I could catch the ruler and with taste when I tasted the food I would catch the ruler. 3. My reaction helped me catch the ruler. When you watch the video you will see more clearly what we did. In my group was Taylor, Griffin and me. We had a lot of fun making this video and doing this activity. In math class yesterday we took notes for sample sizes and we learned: that sample size is the amount of number of samples taken when compiling data. Phrasing is how you word your question so that's it's accurate and you should survey as many people as possible to get accurate results. Today we made a pie graph of our results on Create a graph and if you google that you can create a graph. The 100 colored candies is more reliable for results than the 10 colored candies because it is more accurate to the more people you surveyed.
In class we had energy debate rounds if you want to see which energy source you would like for the future. In this energy debate you'll see solar against hydro power. In the video you will lear a lot about the different energy sources. In Revolutionary War simulation we did causes of the Revolutionary War. I did the stamp act and if you find it, you can see how long it lasted and you can see a YouTube video about the Stamp act after the French and Indian War.
In class we read a article about secondary energy sources and I was assigned to learn about nano tech solar cells. Nano tech solar is similar to solar except it grows. It's practically a plant. Nano tech's reality factor is 4 which means that it is more realistic than other secondary energy sources. If you want to know more I have a slide show above.
