In school I l earned how to use data and fair test. I had to see what bounced higher a ping pong ball or a super ball. I had to drop them with no force and I had to drop it from an eye level. When I did this I had a meter stick and my partner recorded how high each ball bounced. We took the number that show most often and that was the number that we would use for our data. Once when we collected all of the data we saw that the super ball bounced higher. But now we needed to know how much higher the super ball bounced then the ping pong ball. So now I subtracted the super balls data from the pingpong balls data. Now I was sure that the super ball bounced higher. :]
In science class today, we learned about heat transfers. Our experiment for today was to find out if heat can transfer to cool through a plastic cup. To study this, we used a thermometer that plugged into a computer and had its own app. We measured a plastic cup full of water for our hot, and a bucket full of cool water for our cool. Then we put our plastic cup into the bucket and put red dye in it. We did this so that we could find out if the water was going through the plastic cup. Then we stuck our thermometers into the water. We had 2 so that we could measure both tempertures. We messed up a little on it and we have 3 sets of lines. However, we can still see the pattern. The water gets steadily cooler or warmer through the line parts. I was surprised to find out that the water temperatures were like an x!

2.This year will be great because I have a very funny and nice teacher. It will also be a great year beacause the activities and the lessons are really fun. 3. What had me suprised about myself was that I really have gotten better in math and writing since the end of fourth grade. I learned quite a bit about political parties in class today. Here are some of the highlights:
