In class today we did a project on graphing. We started out with cold and hot water. The Hot water was in the cup then we eventually dyed it red. The cold water was in the cookie jar. We put Temperture Probs into the hot and cold water. We really had to be careful because we did not want to move the Temperture Probs. We accsidently bumped the thermomiter are graph shoot up near the begining. We saw near the end the hot and cold tempetures crosed. The hot water was now cold and the cold was now warm. We ended the blue was the higher temperture.

 Today in class we learned about a fair test. We dropped two balls: a ping pong ball and a tennis ball. For a fair test to happen they needed to be dropped at the same height and same force so we wouldn't have an unfair bounce. In our experiment we used meter sticks and we leaned them against the wall to measure how high the balls bounced. We bounced the balls about five times and then we found the mean (average) of all the bounces of each ball.  We found the difference between the two balls. I learned the importance of a fair test. Just one thing can throw your data off.

  I think this year is going to be great because I have a great teacher and class also because we are doing a 21 century class room I think that is going to be really fun doing things different. So far we have been working on the unit Energy and I learned a lot of things like stored energy &energy in action. We also learned about the  issues of political parties. I am going to try to be a better speller and learn as much as I can this year to get ready for 6th grade.
