In Mr.Solarz' class we had global lit.circles. My partner and I read the book candy wars.In Candy Wars the main characters are James and Emily.They are brother and sister and they get sucked into a portal to another world (the world of Tooth fairies and candy monsters)! The trick is that they got sucked in at different times so end up being completely against each other. But which side is good? You will see that a sibling may do anything to win.    

    When we where at the field museum we got the pleasure to learn with a real meteorologist! I was so supprised when he showed us all of the meteroits circleing Earth. One thing (out of many) I learned was that there is an actual meteor under O'Hare airport! I hope we get to skype him in the future!

    We started our expedition at the dinosaur and animal site in the field museum. I learned so many things, I did not even know that we had so many animals in the past! Some of them look like they are a mix of a bear and a elk! In the time of mass extinctions I could not even think of so many details and life. Everything in that exhibit is one of a kind and it just amazes me how our life used to be so complex.

We made some energy debate posters to help get more people to root for our energy source. My energy source was solar energy. We tried to show off some of the most great features in our poster but we also included some cons. The poster making proses definitely had a lot of teamwork involved. We had to find many  details to add to our poster it was very difficult to find details after we got all the easy stuff done. I think making this poster informed us a lot about our energy source which helped us to make strong comebacks.

Mark,Jane,Kathrine,and Martha wanted to have an adventourouse life. So they used the charm that they had found in the sidewalk and wished for an adventure. But what they did not know was that the coin was half magic. Almost every where they decided to go someone wanted to stop them from using the magic coin. So, when ever anyone tryes to interfere with them they would just wish for them to be twise as far as they should be. Finally, when there mixed up week was over they had everything they would ever want. A dad!
