Researching Leafs

And yes, I said "Leaves".  We are learning about how and why leaves change color. Here is the Color Coding:


Green is from the chlorophyll in a leaf.
The Red color is always in the leaf, but it becomes more obvious when the green stops being produced. for this reason, the leaves look red.  The red might also help the leaf stay on the tree longer.
Lastly, Brown.  Brown is just the humdrum color of all the tree's waste, not too overly exciting.
