These are the leaves that I found outside and they change colors because yellow and orange leaves have yellow and orange pigments (colors) and that is what changes the colors in the yellow and orange leaves. The red leaves don't have pigments in them so the green leaf terns red to get more nutrients for the tree for winter. The brown leaves turn brown because the wast near the leaf turns it brown. The green leaf is another pigment but it is the stronger pigment.
