Raindrops on Different Surfaces

This is to be a picture of rainy day - things you would have on a rainy day.

Prediction

1. I predict that the water will make the soil muddy.

2. I predict that the water on the plant will soak into the soil.

3. I think the water will leave a little wet spot on the fabric carpet.

4. I think my skin will get a little wet from the drop of water.

5. I predict that the water will "stick" on the leave.

6. I think lots of the water will fall off of the rubber.

7. I think the tennis ball
will get a little squishy.

Actual

1. The water soaked right through the soil

2. The water slid down the leave and soaked into the soil.

3. A tiny part of the fabric carpet got damp, and the water disappeared
after a few seconds.

4. I got a little drop of water on my arm but when I tilted my arm, the water slid off my arm.

5. Half of the water slid off the leave and half of the water stayed on the leave.

6. Some water fell off of the rubber, the color of the rubber go darker, and the rubber got slippery.

7. The tennis ball got a little clear and a little damp.

Refection

I was surprised that the soil didn't get muddy when the water touched it, the water just soaked right trough the soil.

I thought the fabric would get more wet but it really didn't get wet at all.

I didn't think the water would fall off my skin.

I thought all of the water would stay on the leave.

Nothing really surprised me about the water on the rubber.

I thought the tennis ball get cleaned a little.
