In America the colonists in the British colonies were mostly farmers with their family members working on the farm but, some had indentured servants which are people who traded there work for a lot of money to pay for their trip form Europe to the colonies. Also the British colonies had many farm animals such as cows, hogs, sheep, and horses. People were more intelligent in the middle colonies than any other nation in the world. Lots of colonists could read and write. An Addition to that the British colonists were lucky and had rights that other nations did not have such as the right to belief in your own religions, and more people had the right to vote in the area which they lived in. In the 1770s the Americans were undecided of what kind of government they wanted. They were questioning if their King was really protecting their rights. Many arguments, speeches, and books occurred as they tried to come to a decision of what was best for the colonies.
