Today we did an experiment to show what muscle fatigue is. We tested it by squeezing a cloths pin as many times as we could in 30 seconds.
There is a pattern in my data showing that at first when I started I wasn't tired and got a high number. Then it started to slump downwards until I hit the 100's but then I went back up. I think this happened because after a while my muscles began to remember the movement of my hand to squeeze the pin faster.
Graham's data showed that he was getting lower numbers than me but possibly it was because I had stronger hand muscles or that I adapted to the movement quicker than Graham but there was a similar pattern in his because ours both went down then back up.
The patterns might indicate that at first your hands are ready to work but then they get tired and by the end of the period your hands have remembered the movements.
I think that my results were pretty reliable but i could've made them more accurate if i had changed my action.
